JAIL BAIT (hidden face) (1954 U.S.) D/W/P: EDWARD D. WOOD JR.
Dolores Fuller`s brother hangs around with low-life Timothy Farrell who double crosses him after a security guard is shot during a hold-up. Fuller`s plastic surgeon father plots a ridicilous but satisfying revenge in this solid B picture with typically great Wood dialogue. Lyle Talbot and Steve Reeves are cops. With Herb Rawlinson, Bud Osborne, Mona McKinnon, Don Nagel, Henry Bederski, Conrad Brooks, and look for Wood. Hoyt S. Curtin`s notoriously maddening flamenco score for Ron Ormond`s MESA OF LOST WOMEN (narrated by Talbot and also from Howco) was re-used. Minstrel footage from Ormond`s YES SIR, MR. BONES can be seen in some versions of JAIL BAIT. Reeves hit it big as HERCULES in Italy the following year.
